In its twenty-one year history T.J.'s has completed several notable projects that helped cement its reputation as a company that gets the job done right the first time. Several of these projects are detailed below:
| The GVEA Northern Intertie
While not the largest job T.J.'s has completed, the GVEA Northern Intertie is undoubtedly the most visible and technically challenging project the company has encountered.
The project consisted of 105 miles of power line right-of-way, 150 feet wide, for a total of 1,900 acres. The Intertie project could only be accessed on foot or via helicopter. In addition, work had to stop for hunting seasons, animal migration patterns, and inclement weather. |
| Sherwood Forest Subdivision
The Sherwood Forest subdivision is the largest single residential development in Fairbanks since the oil boom. Development of the subdivision required over 500 acres of clearing for power distribution, building sites, and roads.
The clearing for the subdivision spanned several years and was completed entirely by hand. |
